In September 2025, Literacy in the Disciplines 6-12 lost a vital member of its Executive Board, Dr. Heather Hall, secretary. In an effort to memorialize her commitment to fostering disciplinary literacy in an atmosphere of inclusivity, LiD 6-12 has established The Heather Hall Inclusive Literacy Award.
